Innoson Kiara Academy has trained and graduated over 200 youth in automotive diagnostics training, as parts of its contribution towards the industry’s manpower development.
Established in partnership with the renowned German Auto Company, BOSCH, Innoson Kiara Academy is a Technical and Vocational institution at Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM).
Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, CEO of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, disclosed this during the 2023 graduation ceremony, at the Nnewi Campus in Anambra state.
He said that the six-month intensive programme had equipped these aspiring professionals with expertise in utilising advanced automotive tools, including the Air Conditioning Machine (ACS 611), Battery Tester (BAT 131), Brake Fluid Tester (BFT 100), Battery Charger (BAT 645), and Car Scanner (KTS 350 & 560).
He said that beyond theoretical knowledge, the trainees engaged in practical sessions and a comprehensive market tour focusing on spare parts and their prices.
“This holistic approach ensures that they not only possess theoretical understanding but also practical insights, positioning them as valuable assets in the automotive industry,” he said.

He encouraged the graduates to apply the skills acquired, expressing his commitment to providing job opportunities for those in need.
CEO of Innoson Kiara Academy, Endi Ezengwa, also urged the trainees to embrace the Innoson Spirit of innovation and enterprise, emphasizing that the training is designed to enhance their effectiveness in the field.
Highlighting the societal impact of the training, Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, underscored its role in human capital development and boosting the local economy through manufacturing.
He commended Innoson Kiara Academy for their efforts and encouraged the graduates to contribute to the prosperity of society.
