On May 7th, 2024, the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) commemorated its 53rd anniversary. It was a momentous occasion to reflect on the organization’s remarkable journey and the significant milestones achieved over the years.
To celebrate this moment, MAN hosted a hybrid event for staff at the Head Office and branches. The event featured a fascinating lecture by Mr Rasheed Adegbenro, a former Director-General and current Technical Advisor to the association. Under the theme “MAN: The Journey So Far,” Mr.
Adegbenro took the audience on a nostalgic trip, recounting historical achievements and emphasizing the importance of continuing efforts to build upon and surpass MAN’s lasting impact.

The event also served as a platform to rekindle staff commitment to the Association’s vision and mission statement. In a spirit of friendly competition, a pre-celebration photo contest was held among the divisions.
The MAN Resource Centre (MRC) emerged victorious, becoming the division with the highest number of votes.
The event had in attendance all the Directorates of the Association and all other members of Staff.
