On the 13th of June 2024, the leadership of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), led by its President Mr. Gabriel Idahosa, paid a courtesy visit to Olam Agri Nigeria Limited, a valued member of the Chamber.
The visit was part of the Chamber’s efforts in engaging with its members at all levels.
The president’s delegation was warmly received by Mr. Anil Nair, Country Head and Managing Director of Olam Agri and his team.
During the visit, Mr. Anil Nair highlighted the challenges confronting the Agri-business sector, particularly in the areas of Technology, logistics, preservation, shortage of manpower, power supply etc
He recommended that the government establish proper infrastructure to support private sector.
In his remarks, the LCCI President expressed gratitude to the Olam Agri team for their continuous membership and highlighted that the visit was a gesture of goodwill to acknowledge the partnership between both organizations.
He mentioned that this year, LCCI has elevated its engagement initiatives by focusing on evidence-based advocacy to strengthen its research efforts.
This approach necessitates strategic partnership and collaboration between both entities to drive outcomes and enhance the economy.
