The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, (NACCIMA) has opened MUSIAD Office in Nigeria.
MUSIAD (Müstakil Sanayici ve İşadamları Derne) is an Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association with 56 representatives in Turkey and 32 representatives abroad.
The Nigerian office brings its global presence to 33. NACCIMA’s Director- General, Mr Olusola Obadimu, said during the opening ceremony of the Nigerian Office in Lagos that it’s a pivotal step in fostering trade, investment, and economic collaboration that aligns with Nigeria’s ambitious goal of achieving a $1 trillion economy by 2030.
Represented by Mr.Willem Inya, the Director-General, noted that the initiative aligns with the nation’s industrialization agenda while promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development.
Obadimu said: “With a population of over 222 million and abundant natural resources, Nigeria presents immense opportunities for business partnerships. MUSIAD’s establishment here is a critical bridge for Nigerian enterprises to access international markets while attracting foreign investments to accelerate economic growth.”
Highlighting MUSIAD’s vast global network, Mr Obadimu encouraged Nigerian entrepreneurs to seize this opportunity.
“This platform is poised to catalyze job creation, wealth generation, and capacity building, and NACCIMA pledges its unwavering support to ensure its success,” he added.
The representative of MUSIAD in Nigeria at the launch stated that MUSIAD’s expansion into Nigeria signifies a commitment to driving innovation, technology transfer, and industrial development.
MUSIAD Nigeria Secretary, Mr. Haruna Ali, said that the organization’s mission is clear: “We aim to provide seamless access to international markets, linking Nigerian businesses with manufacturers in Turkey and other regions, fostering growth across industries.
