This thrilling announcement was shared by Frederick Mordi, Head of Corporate Communications and Government Affairs at Cadbury Nigeria, who expressed the company’s excitement about this momentous occasion.

From its humble beginnings repackaging imported products, Cadbury Nigeria has transformed into a fully-fledged manufacturing powerhouse, catering to the ever-growing local market.

Incorporated on January 9, 1965, and proudly listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) since 1976, the journey has been nothing short of spectacular!

In a heartfelt message, Mr. Adedotun Sulaiman, Chairman of Cadbury Nigeria, reflected on the company’s extraordinary evolution, stating: “We are incredibly proud of our achievements over the past six decades! Our journey has had its challenges, but our resilience shines through as we continue to deliver outstanding value to our shareholders.”

He expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who has played a part in this success story—employees, past and present, suppliers, business partners, and loyal shareholders.

A special nod was also given to the Nigerian government for its unwavering support throughout the years.
