Dangote Cement’s CFA100bn Côte d’Ivoire Plant Begins Operations

Dangote Cement new plant in Côte d’Ivoire, built at the cost of 100 billion CFA francs, has commenced operations.

Located in Attingué, approximately 30 kilometres from Abidjan, the state-of-the-art facility spanned 50 hectares with an annual production capacity of 3.0 million.

The Managing Director, Dangote Cement Côte d’Ivoire, Serge Gbotta, disclosed this during a press briefing held at Novotel Abidjan-Marcory to announce the commencement of the operations.

“This plant is more than an industrial unit—it is a symbol of confidence in Côte d’Ivoire’s future.

“Our goal is to provide Ivorians with world-class cement, produced locally and offered at competitive prices,” Gbotta said.
