President Bola Tinubu has left  Nigeria for the 2023 G20 Summit in New Delhi, India.

During the Saturday September 9- 10  summit, world leaders will try to find solutions to some of the world’s pressing problems amid a deep geopolitical divide over the war in Ukraine that threatens any progress.

There, President Tinubu aims to use the platform to attract foreign  direct investment and private capital for public infrastructure development in Nigeria.

At the summit with the theme ”One Earth-One Family-One Future,” Tinubu will also engage in private meetings with industrialists and world leaders to strengthen economic partnerships and connect with the Nigerian community in India.

Though, Nigeria is not currently a member of the group of the world’s top 20 industrialized nations, it exploring potential membership.

The G20 consists of 19 countries and the European Union, representing 85% of global GDP and two-thirds of the world’s population.
