The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) used the 2024 International Women’s Day, themed “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress, ” to cheer the 36 women Chief executive officers across various sectors of the economy that are under the membership of the Association.
Industrial Times learned that among the women are Kofo Akinkugbe, the Founder/CEO of Secure ID; Ibukun Awosika, the Founder and CEO of the Chair Center Group; Stella Okoli, the Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, among others.
In a post on it’s social media handle, Segun Ajayi-Kadir, the Director-General of MAN, shared that MAN celebrates the resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of the women who are instrumental to the shaping of our economy, communities and driving progress.
” It’s impossible to imagine a world without the immense contributions of women. They are the mothers, builders, innovators, and leaders who nurture ideas, transform potential into reality, and inspire generations to come,” he said.
