Lagos PRFest 2026, is scheduled to hold from Friday, July 3 to Thursday, July 9, 2026, under the theme: ‘Security, Nation Building and Public Trust: Fostering Collective Responsibility through Strategic Public Relations.’
The Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Samuel Ayetutu, disclosed this during the Chapter’s Monthly Meeting/PR Clinic held recently at the Eko FM Multipurpose Hall, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.
Mr Ayetutu emphasised that PRFest is one of the chapter’s most significant professional initiatives aimed at bringing together communication professionals, business leaders, policymakers, academics, students and other stakeholders to engage on issues of national importance.
According to him, the 2026 edition is particularly significant as it focuses on the critical intersection of security, nation-building and public trust at a time when strategic communication has become indispensable to national development and social cohesion.
” Public Relations practitioners have a crucial role to play in fostering trust, promoting responsible communication and strengthening the relationship between institutions and the public.
PRFest 2026 will provide a unique opportunity for stakeholders to collectively examine these responsibilities and contribute to national development,” he said.
The planning Committee Chairman , PRfest 2026 Bolaji Abimbola, disclosed that the committee was working diligently to deliver a memorable and impactful festival.
He assured members that all arrangements were being put in place to ensure a successful event that would meet the expectations of participants and stakeholders.
