Lagos: On June 20th, 2024, the leadership of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), led by its President Mr. Gabriel Idahosa, paid a courtesy visit to Chivita|Hollandia (CHI Limited), a valued member of the Chamber.

The team was warmly welcomed by the Managing Director, Mr Eelco Weber.

The LCCI President, conveyed appreciation for CHI Limited’s continued membership and stated that the purpose of the visit was to listen directly to industry operators about their business challenges to further strengthen the Chambers advocacy efforts on behalf of its members, and also explore opportunities for collaboration.

He also highlighted the importance of such partnerships in addressing the skills gap, particularly in providing training and vocational skills for employees through the Chamber’s Business Education Service and Training unit (BEST).

In his response, Mr Weber thanked the Chamber for its advocacy efforts while acknowledging the fact there was still a lot more to do.

The President encouraged the management to proactively position their organization to take advantage of the benefits offered by the Chamber’s initiatives and programs, such as the Lagos International Trade Fair, amongst others.

The LCCI team was also given a tour of the company’s excellent production facility
