The French Ambassador to Nigeria, Marc Fonbaustier, and the Head of the French Treasury in Nigeria, Florent Mangin, paid a courtesy visit to the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN).
Its President, Otunba Francis Meshioye, expressed his delight at the ambassador’s visit and appreciation for his interest in investment opportunities within Nigeria’s manufacturing sector.
The visit served as an avenue to showcase potential investment areas and explore initiatives aimed at fostering bilateral cooperation and partnerships between French and Nigerian companies.
Otunba Meshioye acknowledged the French Treasury’s commitment to strengthening economic and financial ties between France and Nigeria, supporting business collaborations, and contributing to growth initiatives across the country.
The MAN President reiterated the association’s dedication to facilitating engagements that create mutually beneficial opportunities.
MAN President also used the occasion to brief the ambassador on the upcoming Nigeria Manufacturers Equipment and Nigerian Raw Material Expo, scheduled to take place from August 5th to 7th, 2025, at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island.
He highlighted that the event serves as a valuable platform for foreign equipment manufacturers to showcase their innovations, providing Nigerian manufacturers the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies.
The expo also presents an avenue to exhibit Nigeria’s diverse raw materials, further promoting investment and industrial development
