▪︎Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, tour Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, yesterday.
Stakeholders in the manufacturing sector are pressuring Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, to pay the N75 billion for 75 industries Presidential loan .
They made the demand when the Minister toured some leading manufacturing companies in Lagos – Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, MRS and BUA .
In a tweet on her social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), the Minister said : ” This tour, spanning across Lagos, Ogun, Kano, and more, aims to forge stronger ties between the public and private sectors, fostering partnerships that drive our economy forward. Exploring leading manufacturing companies like the Nigerian Bottling Company, Niger Biscuits Co. Ltd, and Beloxxi Industries Ltd among others, will shed light on the incredible work being done within our country’s manufacturing sector.
” The significance of this journey extends beyond showcasing the brilliance of our manufacturing prowess; it’s a testament to the government’s unwavering support for key sectors of our economy.
