The minister commended the negotiating teams from both sides for producing what he described as a balanced and forward-looking agreement that aligns with international best practices while protecting the legitimate interests of both jurisdictions.
The Presidency says the bodies allegedly used by Adeyemi—including the so-called Presidential Economic Advisory Council, Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council, and Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council—do not exist as government agencies.
“They should utilise the equipment judiciously to better their lives. They are not supposed to sell them. They are expected to use them for their daily livelihoods so that in another year or two, they will also be able to empower somebody else.”
